And here we have part two of our series: the fiery phoenix!
No, you can't have this one either! It's going on my other shoulder, haha. This one I was able to do a bit of editing with, though it's not great. Grr to the eraser in Paint sucking horribly! It took me quite a while to get the head just right. A phoenix looks a lot like a peacock, but has a chicken-like head more often than not. Since I am not terribly fond of chickens, I tried to stay closer to the peacock background of the phoenix. I think I managed that pretty well. I really love how the tail turned out  Hopefully I'll have the next two designs up relatively soon. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
